...idiots! I seem to be collecting them lately. They really show up by phases and in packs! Let's take for example, last night.

I get a call at 9pm and I answer it. My caller ID says it's an 800 number. Fine, they want something. Maybe it's one of these fun surveys, who knows. So, I pick up the phone and the speaker asks for me. Hey, that's an amazing peace of luck, I happen to pick up my own phone!

The guy is calling from a company I've never heard of. He's telling me that I'm up for free council. Free stuff? Oh yeah! Don't we all love free stuff?

"Counceling for what?"
"We're financial advisors"
"and?"
"We'd like to meet you to discuss your finances"
"What for?"
"Offer you products and services"
"So basically, you're offering to invest my money"
"Exactly"

Ok, now let me get this straight. Some guy I've never heard of calls me at home from I don't where and wants me to send him my money for investments? Is that how it works? Why not just ask for my bank account, it'll go faster.

Then it hit me... If this guy is actually calling, it's because bigger idiots are actually giving them their money. Who on earth would give them money just because they called asking for it?

Is it me or does this make no sense whatsoever? I mean we're not talking about buying knives over the phone or answering a survey here.

Hell, maybe it's just me...
